[Ad-gifted] Family nights can be a special time to connect with your kids. We often sit down to a film but as an alternative, a good board game is a great option.
If you are struggling to find a board game that you can have fun with and is suitable/entertaining enough for kids and adults alike, then we have the perfect option for you. Family Quiz Night by Cheatwell Games is a fairly new game in their glossary and is a great addition to your cupboard.
Winter makes for a foolproof time to test out new board games and just so you don’t have to waste your time worrying about whether it’s a good game or not, we have tried it out for you.
So, read our latest blog and find out what we thought.

What we thought of the Family Quiz Night game
It was an easy game to get up and running – the kids were quick at it and got straight into answering questions and moving their pieces across the board.
My youngest really enjoyed it – he said it’s a game where you don’t need to argue with your family it’s just about listening to questions! Ha – He means that it was so easy to play but fun too with the trivia-style questions you need to answer/ask each which means there were no arguments – not like when we all play Monopoly!
The game is fun and we enjoyed playing together and will look forward to getting it back out during the half term school holidays. The questions are for mixed ability, so it will suit a range of ages – we have 9 to 14-year-olds in our house, plus the adults and we were all suitably entertained.

The questions cards are easy to use and have multiple-choice questions for the kids and then a trickier question for the adults – all on the same card. This is what creates the adaptability to suit all age groups. In total, there are more than 1200 questions (so they say as I certainly didn’t count them!) – So, as you can see there are plenty of hours to be entertained.
What’s more, you will be learning along the way too – well that’s what my kids thought! There are plenty of categories to choose from including TV, Geography, History, Science & Nature, Movies, People, Music and Pot Luck – making it all the more fun. So, as you can see this is a game that will test out your general knowledge skills and have you excited to shout out the answers to the specialist topics! See below where you can get hold of your board game ready for the winter holidays!

Where can you purchase the game and how much is it?
Family Quiz Night retails for £26.99 and you can order yours from Amazon here.
