[Ad-gifted] Want to know about a wine cooler – specifically, a Candy DiVino Wine Cooler?
As we head towards the warmer weather and the ideal drink to have on a summer evening is a cold glass of wine but you’re done with your cool box – it’s time to re-think how to chill it!
In Yeah Lifestyle’s latest review, we were asked to tell you what we thought of the Candy DiVino Wine Cooler. It holds seven bottles of wine and is a built-in unit – that fits snuggly under your kitchen units. But we decided we wanted it in our dining room, so we installed it by an existing cupboard so that we are entertaining we don’t have to leave the table when we’ve finished our bottle of wine!
What we thought of the Candy DiVino Wine Cooler
The wine cooler arrived as you would expect, perfectly packaged and via delivery direct to our door. The fridge needs to be left to settle once unpackage (like with all refrigeration appliances) for around 4h before being plugged in to use. We left ours a little while, as we needed to remove an existing unit, so we could put the fridge in the location we had chosen and make it look flush with what we already had in place.
While my husband was busy getting it all ready to put in place, this gave me time to have a good look at the wine cooler. The wine bottles fit snuggly into the cooler. You can remove the odd shelf, creating a bigger shelf allowing you to place three to four 330ml cans of beer, or soft drinks, if you are into mixers and cool them alongside a chilled bottle of Vodka.
The fridge is narrow at just 15cm wide so can be added to even the smallest of rooms, or on the end of the unit if you are adding it in once your room has already been set out. The only setback we found was this it is millimetres too tall to fit under our existing worktop – which meant we had to do some altering. So be sure to measure yours correctly or be aware of this when you get yours.
What I love about this cooler is its slick finish. It really looks the part and with its chrome handle, it’s an attractive appliance to have in your house. It might be small but how many bottles of wine do you really need to cool at any one time? I think seven is plenty. The only slight downside is that it isn’t particularly energy efficient, but it matches the efficiency of most big TVs so you have to see this as a treat product to have in your home and a little bit of convenient luxury!
Where can you get your Candy DiVino Wine Cooler?
You can buy yours here from Currys.
How much does the wine cooler cost?
It costs £259 and you will need to install it. You can pay an additional charge and have it installed if you don’t have time to carry out the work yourself.

Hahaha yes two or three would be perfect
I really like how narrow this is – it feels like it could fit in any household, and previously I only thought of wine coolers as being bulky! Sounds like a really interesting kitchen appliance.
Absolutely, and it does not take too much space as well
Thanks for sharing your honest review. I absolutely love to add this to my kitchen soon.
How lovely to hear that
I love how narrow and small that is to fit anywhere but a shame about the height. That’s the sort of thing I wouldn’t even think about x
Agree, it is, but it works perfectly
