Having only recently been a National Mourning for the loss of our Queen here in the United Kingdom, it only feels fit to talk to you about a brand that has notably been worn by our future Queen Consort, Catherine, Princess of Wales or as most people know her, Kate.
Astley Clarke is a British jewellery company with an already established celebrity following, but its pieces also fit quite nicely on us ‘ordinary folk’ too! I love jewellery that has a bit of character and dares to make interesting shaped pieces with semi-precious stones, that looks amazingly chic but also more affordable.
Astley Clarke is a brand that can reach a range of affordability. You can get from them special and unique pieces that perhaps need a bit of saving up to get hold of, or you can treat yourself – or hint for a gift – from some of their more pleasantly priced ranges.
Their products are made from Sterling Silver, with and without 18-carat gold vermeil (slightly thicker than gold plating) and some in solid 14-carat gold. So if you want to look at their latest collection, specifically for this review of their gold rings, then keep reading…

What I thought of the Gold Vermeil Rings from Astley Clarke?
The rings arrive in the usual style box that lifts open, then inside is some black tissue paper and once you dig down you will find the small and exciting box that will contain whichever magical piece of jewellery you have ordered. I ordered rings so when I opened the box, my two stacking rings had been carefully placed inside.
The rings I chose were from their gold rings section, which had a huge range to choose from. Some that caught my eye included their gorgeous Fusion Interstellar Saphire Ring in 14-carat yellow gold. The sapphires are set in a cross-like design, with tiny sapphires amongst slightly larger sapphires, it’s beautiful and delicate but a whopping £1450, and way out of my price range. However, some equally beautiful gold rings are perfect for stacking with other rings from the Astley Clarke range or ones you may have at home already.
Some of my favourite ones from the gold ring section that are great for stacking was the Polaris North Star Black Spinel Ring – its design of irregular positioned disks, some of which contain a small amount of black spinel which is a rare gemstone made up of hard vitreous magnesium aluminium oxide or magnesium aluminate. It’s beautiful and black but still shimmers in the light which makes it so unique. But although this one caught my eye it wasn’t my favourite of the selection.

Surprisingly for some, my favourite of the gold rings was the simple gold vermeil beaded ring. I love simple rings as I like to add them to larger rings as a stack. I recently bought a tiny twig ring to signify my 39th birthday which sits really well with some of my larger gemstone rings, hence why to accompany the Astley Clarke beaded gold ring, I also went for a Moonstone Stilla ring, that contains a cloudy white gemstone, encased by gold vermeil sterling silver.
Astley Clarke is such a varied brand that provides you with beautiful and in the case of their gold rings section, they are affordable too. Both rings are beautiful, my favorite is the textured ring. I’d wear this set if it were in silver! I love how they look together, thanks for sharing this brand.

These are such pretty rings. I love that they look great together too. Moonstone looks gorgeous. One of my girls loves Moonstone and that ring would be perfect for her.
