[Ad] With cold dark nights fully upon us, this is my favourite time of the year to wrap up and get cosy as I find the best colour scheme to wear this winter. With having two under two I’m definitely more a snug movie night at home kinda gal these days, than I am for the wild Christmas parties – although I do like to still squeeze at least one, maybe less wild one in!
So, in our latest Femme Luxe review I am trying all things comfy and I’m so excited to get to review some new Femme Luxe Loungewear! I am representing comfort, something where you can eat those mince pies without undoing that top button and hopefully something so comfy you could sleep in it but also leave the house without judgement that you’re still in your pyjama’s #mumlife. Just to clarify I do not go out in pj’s but love a pyjama set that looks like clothes so obviously a lounge set I could sleep in would literally tick all of my boxes!
However, if you are all for the glammed up weekends (I only envy you ever so slightly) or if your looking for something for Christmas party season then there is a HUGE variety for you too! I must admit whilst scrolling through their website my initial thought was these clothes are not for me, having two babies my body is not what it once was and where a slinky dress would have been a firm favourite now it fills me with sheer horror.
But Femme Luxe accommodates us curvier girls too, going up to a size 18 with a lot of ruched design which I personally think is the perfect style for those slightly conscious of our ever-changing shapes, those wanting to disguise their mum tums or simply feel confident wearing something a little sexier. There is literally something for everyone, dresses to make you feel sexy, oversized loungewear, activewear, blazers and shoes! You can dress stuff up or down, mix and match!

What I thought of the Femme Luxe outfits
The first item I tried was the Alia Lounge Set which can be found here. My first impression was gorgeous thick material with a fleece lining, perfect for the cold dark nights which have swiftly come round. They have a thick elastic waistband proving optimum comfort for the season we are renowned for overindulging.
Comfy little co-ord set, perfect for those on the school run, or for travelling or just living your best life and having a good old sofa date. I must admit the more I scroll through social media where this outfit but would be my perfect outfit for a lazy day at home, I do feel these are high on trend which now is often paired with some super glam makeup, a slick back pony with a cute platform trainer.

Then I followed up with Black Boxy Cropped Lounge Set Cailleigh, now this must be my favourite out of the three. Not only does it have that thick elastic waistband, but the hooded crop is drawstring so can be worn both ways. The high waisted cuffed joggers mean that you’re not showing too much skin and the hoodie can be adjusted by the drawstring keeping a straight box cut or overhang look.
Whether it’s a slick back pony or my fave mum bun I honestly think you could dress this up or down paired with a chunky trainer. Ideal for a long-haul flight too now we can all finally travel, available in a variety of colours, what’s not to love?

My final outfit was my least favourite now it is described as a jumper dress online however at 5’1 I would not be comfortable wearing this without jeans or leggings. You could dress this up with some leather-look leggings and heeled boots or dress it down with a biker boot and still create an edgy look. I wasn’t huge on the material it’s 100% acrylic, so it isn’t the softest of materials which is something I tend to look for in knitwear.

I do love a good thick winter jumper and the pink and white horizontal striped jumper looks ever so comfy! Definitely wouldn’t be a dress on me at 5ft 9″ though! 😉 Sim x
Hahaha yes don’t think so, more like a jumper shirt
The lounge set looks so comfortable! It is a shame that the jumper dress was your least favourite and the material wasn’t the best – it looks lovely on you!
Thank you, i do like the colour of it, I hope I will eventually like it more as I use it
I don’t have any lounge sets but they look so comfy for a lazy weekend at home!
Their lounge sets are super comfy and lovely as well
There are great outfits for Autumn. with the weather change that jumper is super appealing right now. OMG, how cold was it this morning on the school run!!!!!
I agree, it was just freezing and that only means its jumper time, in style!
My daughter loves lounge sets, I don’t really have any, I love what you have chosen. Will have to pop over and have a look and give us both a treat
Hope you do pop over and have a look at their range
The jumper dress is really pretty and loungewear is so useful at this time of the year, it’s so cold where I am now x
