[Ad-gifted] In a digital age, where taking photos is so common, many of us end up with thousands of photos on our smartphones, tablets and computers but not many of us take the time to get those images printed. So in this blog post, we are sharing with you about CanvasChamp and their 12″x8″ canvas print.  Firstly, their website is very user-friendly and it was easy to navigate and select the product according to our preference.   They sell canvas in various sizes ie from 8″x8″ to 36″ x 24″ with price ranging from £5.99 to £42.48.  I was given a voucher code to redeem and review a 12″ x 8″ print, so I uploaded my photo (you can even do a collage of a few images), select the canvas size, choose you canvas wrap styling ie thin, thick, rolled or hanging canvas.  I was also given the option to choose the type of border style I wanted ie mirror wrap or image wrap or just plain colour border wrap.  You can choose different framing style for a small fee.  Finally, I picked the hooks to hang the canvas as it was a free option, there are other options such as sawtooth hanger, easel back, easel stand or dust cover back again for an extra fee.

What is great about CanvasChamp is that their software allows you to to do minor editing (if you have not done this already via photoshop) such as red-eye removal, colour enhance, lighten, darken the image, dust/scratch removal,  date stamp removal.  The company also allows you to key in details in you want a major retouching done for an extra £18.75. You can also choose to have the proof emailed to you for an additional £1.99 (I did not need this as my photo was already edited). So the canvas you see showcased here is practically the basic option with no additional enhancement. My only negative feedback was that I would have preferred the canvas print to be a larger size as when it arrived, a 12″ x 8″ canvas does look tiny.  CanvasChamp sells so many products such as personalised photo gifts, calendars, home decor item and 3D photo printing, so check them out if you have not.

Do they do vertical print canvas? – Yes, they can do vertical print canvas

What If the color on the canvas is not as you expected? – Their printers are calibrated accurately to print right colours. Their products are printed RGB and they will make every effort to match the color of your design. In rare cases some colours might have some variation. This will not be considered production error. They will not issue refunds, nor accept returns for misunderstandings due to colour, depth or tone. They are not responsible for differences, either real or perceived, between the appearance of the product on your screen and the final printed piece. We will address this situation case to case basis. Please make sure to put special instruction if you are very specific on certain color.

What is the difference between Rolled Canvas, Hanging Canvas, Thin Wrap and Thick Gallery Wrap?

Rolled Canvas – They come printed as a canvas roll. They are not stretched or framed. That is the cheapest option for the order and can be used if you intend to frame your canvas by yourself
Hanging Canvas – These are neither stretched nor rolled, instead an unmatched amalgamation of two with the impeccable blend of ethnicity. Unpack them and hang these gorgeously crafted hanging canvas prints on your home/office walls.Thin Wrap – They come with pre-stretched canvas on 0.75″ thick wooden frames. What goes on the sides of my canvas? – Normal pictures are 2 dimensional whereas canvases are 3 dimensional. So for the edges you can select a solid color for the edges / have the original image extended ( Image wrap ) or have the edges mirror image of the border. If you have important features of the canvas, we suggest you take the mirror finish option so as to not lose any of the important parts of the image in the wrap. For all other images, you can go with either of the options.

What Canvas Material do they use? They use specially manufactured cotton blend canvas for archival printing.
