Review: VASAGLE 3-Tier Storage Rack by Songmics*

If you’re looking for new ways to enhance all the areas you have been sprucing up or clearing out during this pandemic, look no further than this handy 3-Tier VASAGLE Storage Rack by Songmics which has three shelve spaces and a unique industrial design that will suit most decor.  It can either be used in your newly organised pantry, or your freshly uncluttered bathroom. Or if you haven’t gotten around to any sort of sorting out! It would be perfect to store those pesky toys that litter your kids’ floors! Which is really what we have done with it so far. Although read on and have a good look through our pictures for other ways in which you can use this light and sturdy storage unit.

This unit comes in a fairly small package and arrives flat packed. But don’t worry if you can’t find where you last put your screwdrivers, as it comes with everything you need to assemble it. The instructions were easy to follow and the unit went up in around 20 minutes. Once up I thought it seemed a little unstable, but then my husband pointed out that the base of the feet screw and unscrew so that you can level out the unit to any sort of uneven floor.

What I really love about this unit is the style and versatility. It can be really dressed up or dressed down to suit most rooms in your house. It is also light enough to move around easily. My only complaint is that I thought the shelves themselves would be slats of wood. But they aren’t wood but think coated plastic made to look like wood. My only concern with this is, I am not sure how much weight they would manage to hold without cracking. This is where only time will tell.

We decided that this would be a great addition to our boy’s room to store toys. The plastic boxes containing their lego fits really well on the shelves and doesn’t seem to affect the stability of the shelf. But for the purpose of the review, we also used it in the living room and places on some books, and other decorative trinkets to see what it would look like their too. It worked really well and the style really mixed and matched well with what we had already. Our third spot was in the bedroom where again we used it in a more decorative way. This just shows you how although its unique look is quite modern it fits well with some more traditional pieces you may have in your home.

The 3-Tier storage rack we received is a VASAGLE by Songmics design, so we thought we’d tell you about both these furniture brands on Amazon. Songmics is a feature brand on Amazon, whose focus is on budget style and functional furniture. Their sister company VASAGLE have a similar ethos and offer a slight variation on what Songmics have available. I would describe their style as Skandi inspired, which is the classic nordic look you expect to see in Swedish and Finish homes.
